GoogleI have been to Fairmont Hotsprings resort twice now. The first time was in the late ‘90s and I just stayed there March 16/17 of this year. It is not the same place or experience Don’t get me wrong, other than the condition of the pool itself, it’s hard to beat the pool. Temp was good, view was great, people amazing. Unfortunately, it’s falling apart. Much like the building facilities themselves. I’m sure there hasn’t been a significant investment in that property for years. Much like Harrison Hotsprings Resort, Aldesta Hotels & Resorts | Saliance Global Holdings, have just sucked money out of the property. What was once a great all round experience has turned into a place you will tolerate staying at to take advantage of the surrounding beauty, offering of the springs and ski hill. The food offered at Bears Paw was tolerable at best. The Burger was plain and the Tandoori Chicken was a pre-frozen breast with maybe some spice sprinkled on it. Again, not worth the money. You are far better Off running up the road 20 minutes for far more selection at similar price points. It’s lazy at best when it comes to a food offering. I wish I could say more good things but the drain that let 3in of water to back up into the tub during a quick shower with junk back flowing over our feet topped it off. It’s an old facility that deserves a significant upgrade to make it the offering it once was. Go for the pool, skiing, hiking and etc. Stay in your motor home. Eat anywhere else.
