“The owners of SaltChuck greeted us with big smiles and lots of info/directions, since it was our 1st time there. Beautiful brand new cedar sauna...they added some eucalyptus too for a nice change and 3 cold Tubs to take the plunge, plus a shower to hose off...and yes there is a washroom! 🤣 Great little spot, a gem for sure💦💙🫶 Very happy we went and we'll be back!!!”

GoogleWe decided to try this as we live a few blocks away. Let me start with the good. GOOD. 1. The lady hosting was wonderful. A real warm and kind soul! 2. Outdoor fire was very refreshing! NOT GOOD. 1. Dangerous. This was scary and I could have been hurt tbh. There were no instructions on how long to stay in the cold plunge. And no thermometers to know how cold each plunge was. So, I stayed in for 4 minutes! When I got out, I was beyond cold. I could not fully feel my toes for around 4 hours. It was painful. I was concerned about frostbite etc. There needs to be some clear instructions on timing and there needs to be thermometers on each one so you know what you are getting into!!! 2. Sauna. They kept stocking the sauna with wood, but it made it way too hot to enjoy. It was so hot that if you leaned back and touched the sauna it felt like you were getting burned. This place has potential and could be so much better. It needs structure and organization and some clear instructions for when people come visit. I will not be coming back.
