Roam Beach Resort

Our family is so incredibly grateful to Roam Beach Resort in the Qualicum Beach area on Vancouver Island for giving my aunt and her partner two truly special nights together. My aunt is in palliative care, and time is so precious. Being able to step away and stay somewhere peaceful and beautiful meant everything to them and to our whole family. From the moment they arrived, they felt welcomed and cared for. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. Being right by the ocean in Qualicum Beach, with the soft shoreline, fresh sea air, and the quiet beauty that Vancouver Island is known for, created the perfect atmosphere for rest and connection. The views are stunning and calming in a way that is hard to put into words. It felt like the world slowed down for them. The space itself was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. It had everything they needed to relax and simply enjoy being together. There was a sense of privacy and peace that made those two nights feel intimate and meaningful. For a couple navigating such a tender chapter, Roam Beach Resort provided more than accommodation. It provided a sanctuary. It gave them the gift of watching the ocean, breathing in the coastal air, and sharing quiet moments side by side in a place that feels truly special! We will always be thankful for the kindness and care shown to them. Those two nights are memories our family will treasure forever. I also want to sincerely thank Bonnie for all of her help over email. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive. During a time when our family was navigating so many emotions and logistics, Bonnie made everything feel simple and manageable. She answered every question with warmth and clarity, responded quickly, and went out of her way to ensure my aunt and her partner would be comfortable during their stay. Her compassion came through in every message. It never felt transactional. It felt personal and caring. Organizing something like this during a palliative journey can feel overwhelming, but Bonnie’s support made the process smooth and reassuring. Because of her, we felt confident that my aunt would be well looked after and able to truly relax and enjoy those precious two nights. We are deeply grateful for her kindness and professionalism. She made a meaningful difference in an experience our family will always cherish. Also, please thank the rest of the entire team at Roam beach resort, you are all amazing!

I just drove up from Nanaimo and experienced the barrel sauna at Roam Beach Resort, overlooking the ocean, and it felt like a hidden gem. Crackling fire outside, the rich scent of cedar inside, and the vastness of the sea stretching out before me — all of it, completely to myself. It was one of those rare moments of pure presence and calm. If this place isn’t already well known, it won’t be for long. An undiscovered paradise. I’ll definitely be back — next time with my family.

No pace like Roam, we go to the sauna for breathtaking views and a sweat , what a great place private, towels out, cold dip, lemon cucumber water left its great. Haven't spent the night but the owners have updated the property beautifully , we happened to meet the owner who was kind and inquisitive about our perception and open to hearing Any thoughts moving forward , we are definately coming back.

3 starts because I’d like to stay here but they don’t respond to emails or texts or social media inquiries. Sort of weird if you ask me.
